Dr. Connie May
Veterinarian
Dr. Connie May’s passion for animals began on her family’s farm in Kentucky, where she grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and cattle. Inspired by the blend of science and compassion that defines veterinary medicine, she pursued a lifelong career dedicated to caring for animals and the people who love them.
Dr. May earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003, following an undergraduate education at Morehead State University, where she completed an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in University Studies with a focus on pre-veterinary science.
She finds the greatest fulfillment in building lasting relationships with her clients and their pets, and she thrives in collaborative, team-oriented environments that value respect, support, and appreciation among colleagues.
Outside the clinic, Dr. May shares her home with Ms. Whiskers, a spunky, tailless calico cat. She enjoys spending her free time nurturing her pollinator garden, raising Monarch caterpillars, birdwatching, growing vegetables, and exploring nature. When time allows, you’ll often find her baking—her favorite creative (and delicious) escape.
